I am extremely happy with the amount of views on my page. I understand that I have some not so popular days, these being the days which I did not post many updates or I posted them all at the same time meaning that my posts were below numerous other posts on the home page to my followers. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR READING AND RE-BLOGGING MY POSTS :)
This Networked Media assignment has really opened my eyes to other forms of online communication and degree of interacting with others through blogosperes. This blog has allowed me to express my views regarding certain issues and also read and view other peoples. Before this blog on tumblr I only had experience in the online social media networks facebook and skype.
I now have 24 active followers and I follow 41 and had 133 visits from 8 different countries. The majority of the blogs I follow have something to do with nature, fashion, political issues or simply a little bit of everything. I usually don’t follow unless I genially find what they blog about interesting. Of course I do have some favorites who simply post the most interesting and intriguing images, videos, quotes and information.
I regularly re-post data if I feel it relates to my blog or is just a fascinating or essential post which i hope my followers will enjoy. Of course I know some of my posts have been more popular that others, I feel in the end I did achieve my goal of raising awareness of the possibility of 2012 and convey the beauty of nature. In the end I really just want the world to open their eyes to the beauty of nature around us and to help them appreciate it. I am a strong believer that animal cruelty is a HUGE issue in today’s society and needs to be eradicated. I also believe that there is a possibility of something larger than earth, what a lot of people don’t realise is that there has been thousands of sightings of strange objects in the sky. More research needs to be undertaken to further understand the Mayan calendar and the possibility of 2012.
I feel my followers really enjoy what I have to say, even if it is quite confronting and alarming sometimes. I have had my posts re-blogged numerous times which I think is great because my views are reaching an even larger audience.
I also enjoy giving feedback to others and letting them know that someone is reading their posts by liking if it is interesting. A few people have also left me questions in my message inbox regarding their understanding of certain events, for example I had a follower express his positive attitude towards the quote from Paul Keating which I posted a couple of weeks ago. They were a strong believer towards the recognition of aboriginals and believes that Paul Keating took the first step which we should acknowledge. I also had an inbox close after my first couple of posts saying they they were interested in what else I was going to post.
I have learnt a lot in regards with working with html and css codes, how to embed media into my blog and how to customise my layout and background. This is evident in certain posts and my overall presentation of my 2012 blog.
I really do appreciate my followers… I love what you post and I hope you also love what I post. I will continue to express my views and hopefully together we can make a difference.
Interesting ears. Short snout. Gorgeous painted coat. Long, lean hind legs. Also, look closely - she’s not touching the ground.
